Shapiro: Trump Impeachment 'Should Be On The Table' If Mueller Investigation Quashed
The Hill ^ | 06/30/18 | Brett Samuels

Conservative commentator Ben Shapiro said Friday that impeachment "should be on the table" if President Trump or one of his appointees ends special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference prematurely.

Shapiro, the founder and co-editor of The Daily Wire, appeared on HBO's "Real Time With Bill Maher," where he said he doesn't believe Trump colluded with Russia in the 2016 election. Shapiro said he's waiting to see evidence suggest otherwise.

Impeachment “should be on the table”. Why. Because the great infallible Ben Shapiro says so.
Has this guy even been paying attention to the congressional hearings on Rosenstein, Comey, Wray etc at all? The way GOP congressmen are angry at the DOJ and the FBI,there is far more chance of them impeaching Rosenstein. The current GOP congress impeach Trump? Not in a million years.

You are absolutely right. Shapiro is a young George Will: a pretentious self promoter, a glib pseudo conservative, a pseudo intellectual. His job (assigned by his corporatist, globalist paymasters) is to corral as many millennials as possible into a fake conservative herd which is friendly toward globalism, corporatism, and statism.

this investigation it in its THIRD year, regardless of how Mulehead spins it. The agent provocateurs were put on the Trump team back in 2015 to try to compromise his election. In 2016 the emails between FIB agents said that they’d have to fix it so Trump wouldn’t win. They were already on his “case”. Mulehead had the pieces and still couldn’t make a case.

He’s fought against prosecuting his own case against those Russians he so famously charged.

Dirty cops.

And they have let Hillary and Obama walk free even though their crimes predate any alleged about Trump.

I think Ben’s just upset because his voice hasn’t changed yet.

Hopefully his status as Mark Levin guest host will be revoked. What a self-important geek.

No, he has not kept up. Those of us who had any unbiased interest in the Mueller investigation continuing have now seen that some of the redacted sentences in the two reports so far (Nunes and Schiff response) are about FBI informants. There is Halper and possibly others like him which are the super-secret sources and methods that the Dems keep screaming can't be exposed. We now understand that is partisan CYA and may point to conspiracy against a political candidate.

The screamers now include Rosenstein and Wray. I have a feeling that Shapiro listened to Rosenstein only, and decided that there were super-secret sources (e.g. double agents in Russia) that need protection, that implicate Trump campaign officials. But as the facts leak out there are none. Instead there are British agents and FBI agents, and nothing more. There are still questions how this Russia collusion sting got started but it seems that it was most likely British.

Shapiro assumes he is smarter than everyone else but he has not looked at and considered the evidence carefully. Or perhaps Shapiro got a phone call. At best he is a useful idiot.

There are good points and bad points to Ben.

He was nervous meeting Maher (and visa versa) and there is a line where you and the other guy have to meet with good give and take, and I think Ben accomplished that — in other words, he wasn’t proselytizing and uncivil nor was he a push over.

They both need each other in different ways: Ben is new and expanding and Maher is old and needs something new so that he doesn’t shrink.

Maybe it was good for the nation to see two people from different camps on the edge of a supposed civil war talking in a civil and productive way. It shows tolerance, respect... and hope.

Ben didn’t do that great with the audience incitement question. When Maxine says (incites) “impeach” there is no evidence for impeachment (unless winning an election is all the evidence needed), but when the Trump crowd says “Lock her up” there is plenty of evidence of Hillary wrong doing. Ben should have pointed out the difference rather than tacitly admitting the charges are equally valid.

I think Ben gets a kick out of Trump, especially when he mimics him. When you mimic it does show a certain fondness. I think Trump will grow on Ben and Ben will evolve in his thinking about Trump to a Scott Adams understanding of Trump. Ben should see Trump as he sees the Bible — both are deceptively simple on the surface, but there are amazing undercurrents which many will never know.

Well said and agree 100%!

I love President Trump, and the way he defends the law, order and the U.S. Constitution. The way he fights for the Republic is beautiful to witness.

President Trump could have easily rode off into the sunset. Instead he put everything on the line. His businesses, life, TV show, beauty pagents, the Trump name, etc.... He even donates his salary? Has any other President done that?

Thank the Good Lord that we have elected President Trump vs. the witch from h@ll Hillary.

Right now if you go on to Twitter and type in the search #WalkAway . You will see Democrats of all ages leaving the Democrat party in droves. It’s unreal to witness.

It’s amazing when you get a real conservative in office that will fight the Democrats, political correctness and the fake Republicans vs all the fakes in the last 30 years that are cucks to the Washington D.C. Establishment. All of a sudden you see a massive wave to the conservatives.

It is said that if 40% of blacks come over to the conservative side, then the country will go all Red and it will be over for the Democrats. My guess at this point is President Trump probably has about 30% of the Black vote and it’s swinging more in our way every day. We get another 10% and it’s lights out for the DNC.

The more Leftist freak out to President Trump the more people come to our side.

I love it!!!
