I made the mistake of clicking on an article about Barrett on National Review. They just never give up, do they? A couple of quotes:
In an America of 300 million people, the likelihood of finding a new justice with Kennedys self-regard is near zero. After all, Donald Trump is unlikely to appoint himself.
Millions of Republicans held their noses and voted for Trump because they felt it was necessary to protect the liberty to practice their faith. The fight over Barretts confirmation would almost certainly build trust between President Trump and social conservatives.
Michael Brendan Dougherty laces his article with this stuff while imploring the President to pick Barrett. Maybe if you guys werent such relentless s###bags, youd actually have the Presidents ear.
Yes, NRO is painful to read. They mask themselves as conservatives but they cant hide their subtle Never Trumper / fake libertarian nonsense..
