Confidence that African Americans, Asians and Hispanics have in their personal finances improving over the next four years should be enough to help GOP leaders retain control of Congress in the midterm elections and reelect President Trump, according to a new survey.
While generally not fans of the president, the three key groups have a good feeling about their future and that should temper their concerns at the polls, said the survey from Zogby Analytics.
“Even though President Trump receives little support from these groups, things might be going just good enough economically that he can scrap enough support from these groups, so that Republicans can retain control of Congress and Trump gets re-elected in 2020,” said the Zogby Poll.
As with most elections, voters are most concerned about the national economy -- and their own.
Zogby found a split on those two issues.
“Majorities of Hispanic, Asian and African American voters sampled disapprove of president Trump, and do not feel the economy is going to be good over the next four years. It's no surprise that each group is not too optimistic about the economy, and does not approve of Donald Trump. What's interesting is that some Asian and Hispanic likely voters think things are going good economically, and are optimistic about their personal finances the next four years,” said Zogby.

Look at say PA in 2012, Gary Johnson only got about 50,000 votes!! 2016 he had around 146,000 votes!

Asians are being put at the back of every line with Whites by Affirmative Action.
I don’t care how much Trump is able to MAGA, a heavy mjority of blacks, Asians and Hispanics will never support Trump simply because they are Democrats and Trump is a Republican.
Yes, he may seen an increase in suport from these groups on a very small level, but it won’t be enough to make a difference in the mid terms or in 2020.
Republicans holding control of congress this year and Trump winning re-election in 2020 will simply depend on the white vote. Tjey will need at least 60% of the white vote to win. That will get harder as more white millennials and generation y are voting. White guilt and self hatred is very prevelent among these kids and they sympathize with illegals, BLM and such.
Trump will almost certainly lose the popular vote again in 2020. But if he hang onto the coalition he built in 2016 he may survive.

This could affect Democrat plans for 2020, because nobody really wants to be the designated loser. Nobody wants to run if they don’t think they can win. Some of these Democrats being talked about, may want to hold off till 2024 if they think Trump will be a big favorite for re-election.
