Why would McConnell be sweating? He can pass Trumps pick of a strong Conservative the same way he passed Gorsuch.
It’ll take two months for some name to come up and it would be late August before the vote comes up. You can anticipate McCain and Flakey-dude voting against the guy, along the ‘Cork-screw’.
Need to push hearings through as soon as Trump names replacement and hope Flake and McCain don’t foul it up.
