I really doubt Romney will try to primary Trump. Willard is a weasel but he’s not completely stupid or insane. You don’t primary an incumbent with 90% intra-party approval unless you’re a Harold Stassen-style joke candidate.

1) Trump met with mittens early on, and even supported him
2) I hate mitt, but I’ll wager he’ll vote for/with Trump’s agenda, 99% of the time.
3) Mitt will whine about how vulgar Trump is to the press, and threaten to vote with the dems, but in the end, he’ll buckle and support trump.
4) mitt is untrustable, but Trump has his measure, and has dealt with worse than Mitt.
5) at some point, we gotta start trusting Trump’s plans or ability to react as needed.

We’re all in the same boat with the same bitter aftertaste. However, after President Trump’s stellar job performance and re-election, We The People will NOT be fooled again.
Hope this isn’t setting us up for another 0bama-esque nightmare down the road. It would be just like the ‘feckless’ GOPe to do that to America. Grrrr!
