Did I miss something when reading the article? I don't see where it says Fox News got a copy of the actual letter, only that they "learned" of receipt of the letter.

The reader is supposed to understand the fact the FBI was spying on the Trump campaign prior to the issuance of an EC means they were doing it illegally without even the flimsiest illusion of a premise.
The story is published as it’s that important.
