LEESBURG, Va. Gina Anders knows the feeling well by now. President Trump says or does something that triggers a spasm of outrage. She doesnt necessarily agree with how he handled the situation. She gets why people are upset.
But Ms. Anders, 46, a Republican from suburban Loudoun County, Va., with a law degree, a business career, and not a stitch of Make America Great Again gear in her wardrobe, is moved to defend him anyway.
All nuance and all complexity and these are complex issues are completely lost, she said, describing overblown reactions from the presidents critics, some of whom equated the Trump administrations policy of separating migrant children and parents to historys greatest atrocities.
It makes me angry at them, which causes me to want to defend him to them more, Ms. Anders said.

Dems continue to light exploding cigars over and over.
Dems and their minions are doing something to motivate the MAGA voters that the GOP seems incapable of doing.
If they just shut up their enthusiasm would guarantee them the house...
But daily they go more and more insane and wind up motivating the MAGA voters to show up just to shut them down
I say the GOP picks up 65 House and 12 senate seats. 2019-2025 will be the Golden Age of America.
Numb to outrage? No, numb to lies and fakery.
Yup. Me, too.

Do they really not get how violated and under assault we all feel? Fortunately they do not seem to get that unrestrained lawbreaking and acted-out rage does not turn on voters. That was one of the reasons they lost in 16.
From your keyboard to God’s ears, MuttTheHoople!
IMHO, we had two great Republican presidents in my lifetime: Reagan and Trump. Nixon had his good points and he was screwed by the damned media but he was too pone to revenge which is a dish best eaten cold) Forget the Bushes and Gerald Ford and the nominees with the exception of Bob Dole who was very loyal to the Party and not afraid to stand up for Trump (enough of Mitt “I won’t fight back, that’s not gentlemanly” Romney or the execrable, Dem bootlicker McCain. Trump fights for us, the lousy Bushes secretly despised us and it shows with Laura (offed her boyfriend), her idiot husband and the father who were constant critics of Trump but never said a cross word about Obama.
Numb to outrage? No. Numb to the NY Times? Absolutely.
Numbing to THE LIES OF THE LYING LEFTIST MEDIA LIKE THE NYT, Republican Voters Feel a Deepening Bond to Trump
Numb to outrage, hmm? I don’t think “numb” even begins to describe our reaction to media tantrums, but “outrage” might.
And I think chit like happened at the restaurants lately only reinforces these feelings.
Americans are for the most part fair-minded people. No one wants their family to be kicked out of a restaurant just because the owner doesn’t agree with their politics. Democrats are becoming so dominated by hate and anger it just can’t possibly end well for them. Which is good, it’s just a shame they have to make everything about racism, hatred, and envy.
I love the sound of the NYT whining.
I think you’re an optimist, but I sincerely hope you’re right and I’m wrong.
My prediction is hold the House with minimal losses, gain maybe 3-4 Senate seats. Media and the Left grow ever more unhinged with only Trump and 63 million Deplorables standing athwart history and yelling “stop!”
I’m not numb to their outrage, it’s all phony and I see through it. I can’t believe their narcissism in believing that their alleged hurt feelings mean squat to me. If it’s not phony, I think they need therapy and I’ll never follow the advice of mentally unstable people. I do have sympathy for them, but I’m not stupid.
I’m sticking with my prediction that we easily keep the House(just like we did in 2016).
Like Newt Gingrich said.... If the demented dems can only flip one California house seat, then there is no way in hell they can capture the House.
NO WAY IN HELL
