WikiLeaks has published a catalog of U.S. Immigration Customs Enforcement officials with employment history scraped from their LinkedIn profiles.
The group known for blasting classified records debuted its “ICEPatrol” project Thursday night with a database of photos, titles, job and school history for more than 9,000 current and former federal employees associated with the agency.

Their mission has never been to do anything like this. They have always focused on getting out secret government information in the interest of transparency.
This release makes no sense.

Doesn’t sound like Wiki leaked any. They simply got the information the ICE employees put on the Internet and compiled it on one list.

I know..that’s why I said current. They had been working against the left lately & then Assange went MIA. He knew their secrets & basically admitted they killed one of his sources. I just think it’s a safe bet to assume they’ve been compromised.

Do you know if anyone has seen him lately? Like actually seeing him in the window or balcony? I was under the impression that there hasn’t been any real proof of life in quite a while.
As to somebody compiling a list, you can be sure that the people who really intend to use such a list already made their own list. A long time ago.
In general a free society is helped by open information about who works where and does what. Obviously in some cases, particularly those related to law enforcement, it is helpful for the people involved to reduce the amount of information they post about themselves. Somebody at Homeland Security should include that concept in their training.
