Virginia Sens. Mark Warner (D) and Tim Kaine (D) have questioned the Trump administration following an explosive report in The Associated Press detailing abuse allegations against a detention facility in their state.
The AP on Friday reported that Kaine and Warner sent inquiries about the Shenandoah Valley Juvenile Center to the U.S. Office of Refugee Resettlement’s director.
Warner and Kaine asked if employees who take part in abusing the young migrants receive disciplinary action and inquired about prior accusations, the report said.
The AP on Thursday reported that a lawsuit filed against the facility includes abuse allegations from young Latino migrants, some of whom were detained for years.
While the report noted that the migrants were not among the children recently separated from their families at the border, the news comes as the Trump administration faces the fallout from its “zero tolerance” immigration policy.
President Trump on Wednesday signed an executive order permitting families to remain together, but the administration is still dealing with backlash against the policy.

So the abuse began during the Obama administration and the Obama administration did nothing to stop it.
Now President Trump has to solve another Obama administration screw up.
Why is Tim Kaine only learning about this now?
Was he too busy running for VP that he didn't care about Latino children?
