I was there for 27 years.
I know of at least 10 first and second level managers in processor design who quit as soon as BK was made CEO.
It is very possible this is why they set it up.
Nothing new.

Again, the stock price more than doubled on his watch.
A stockholder’s dream. Especially for a “value” stock.

Senior FBI agent?
Isaac Babel was a Russian soldier in the civil war, later a writer and film producer.(RED CAVALRY). He interrogated Merien C Cooper after Cooper was shot down, for the third time, flying for the Poles in 1920.
During the purges Babel was arrested and executed in 1940. I presume the fact he was having an affair with the wife of the head of the NKVD could have been a factor.
screwed up the embedded market for Intel.

Well, the headline got me wondering which was worse:
a consensual internal probe
OR
a non-consensual internal probe.

Try AMD and Nvidia. Double would be very low for them.
In 2016 AMD went up 7 times.
Nvidia went from about $27 in 2016 to $258 today.
I had a cousin’s husband tell me one of his stocks went up 35% the past year. I told him about Nvidia and he said “it could go down”....
His wife knew they could have bought 5,000 shares at $62 in Aug 2016 when I told her to buy and she wanted to but... her husband said no. Today they could have had $1.3 million.

Nice!
Both carry much higher risk than Intel.
Intel is a very large, hi cap value stock. It’s as safe as AT&T. Or Weyerhaeuser.
One of the stocks I have invested in lost almost 5% on this news. It bounced back a little today and probably will recover all of the 5%, but I wondered why the sudden drop yesterday. Until I read this morning that Intel CEO resigns...thus causing uncertainty in the tech sector.
These people need to uphold standards they demand of their own employees as well. Just sayin.
And if tbe CEO is violating a company non-fraternization policy enforced upon subordinates other than the one(s) with whom the CEO is involved?
