What is up with this guy? Sorry Catholics. Don't mean to offend, but how is it this guy took over for another Pope that suddenly resigned?
Future historians will have a field day with this pontificate. It's not outside the realm of possibility that if it can be shown that Benedict XVI was improperly removed or forced out rather than resigned, that Francis could be considered an anti-Pope.

Benedict resigned five years ago, stating that he was no longer up to the demands of the papacy. Yet he seems to be OK today. And his successor just happens to be a radical. The whole thing is very, very odd.
