Comey is going to be the fall guy for all this. Everyone else is going to skate...on everything. All the wrong, all the blame for everything is going to be the fault of Comey. The swamp thinks conservatives will be happy with this. They think that liberals will be happy with this. It’s the compromise position to try and bury a coup against the President of the United States.
Maybe the media is going to breathlessly report how Comey is going to flip and end up indicting both Obama and Hillary and the AG.
This would be an awkward outcome for the deep state team. The reason being that Comey getting fired was the trigger for appointing Mueller. If it turns out that Comey is prosecuted for criminal misconduct then him being fired looks pretty solid. And yet Mueller would still be empowered to search for gremlins and leak all over the place. There's an optics problem there. And DC is all about optics.
