I sadly now think I know the truth and reality… the “swamp” that is now Washington. D.C. (and most western “leaders”) really don’t give a DAMN about terrorism, illegal immigration, open borders, healthcare reform, national sovereignty, the debt, Iran nuclear deal, North Korea missiles, the deficit, jobs, student loans, Wall Street “bubbles”, invasion by a hostile culture, or any other real issue affecting we “peasants” in flyover country.
The big “crisis” is that their plans to coronate Hillary Clinton and keep the good life tax-payer “gravy train” flowing was derailed when they believed their polls (90% Hillary wins) got careless, forgot and allowed ordinary citizens to vote. They’re working frantically to “fix” that!
That is correct. They care about themselves. Period. They need to get rid of Trump but it can't be a simple electoral loss. They need to send a signal that if you dare try to go around their system you will be destroyed. If they can find a way, Trump will end his days in a jail cell, that's what they really want. They'll lie, make stuff up, use foreign agents to plant evidence or entrap people, do whatever they can to find a way to prosecute him for something and get him removed, humiliated, and his life in ruins. They did it to Paul Manafort to send a message "don't work with him, don't help him or you will be destroyed". Don't think they don't want to do the same to him.
They are petty crooks for the most part. Calling them Honorable is obscene.
Don’t kid yourself, though: the global oligarchy would have been fine with Cruz or Jeb too. The only thing they couldn’t handle was the outsider Trump who was onto them.
