I don't understand. I thought they said only 2,000 came across with parents. The rest were on their own. So why do you need 20,000 beds to house families? It's for the other 18,000 "families" the democrats haven't been able to get to the border yet.
And don't overlook the fact that a democrat defined "family" is a lot different than what normal people consider to be a family.
A democrat "family" can be 1,000 MS-13 gang bangers.
Or 3,000 pedophiles and rapists riding on the same Soros financed train from Central America.

When I worked for the US Census and I had a Mexican family to completed their form..
.I was on the phone for several hours listing everyone's name living in that dwelling. It was house and garage every time. Majority were 15 persons or around that number. The teen age girl who always spoke English and would answer the questions politely knew every name and birth date of all living there and their ages. It was always amazing to see.
