I have been to a parade at Marine Base 1 when there was a transfer of command. So beautiful and awesome, tissue time.
Have friends in DC that go to these parades.
The Commandant has his own Band and the President has his own Band.

I know that they have their own bands. I’m in a snit over why they get to keep their bands when posts and bases across the country are losing their musical traditions. Music is a morale booster to the POTUS and to the poor soldier or Marine stationed in the middle of nowhere desert or nowhere Oklahoma or wherever.
We went to a ceremony at Parris Island a few years ago, and the band was great! It was important for our children to see/hear.

LAS VEGAS
President Donald Trump will be in Las Vegas on Saturday to headline the Nevada Republican Party’s convention and appear at a fundraiser with Nevada Republican Sen. Dean Heller.
The Nevada Republican Party confirmed Monday that the president would be speaking at the event at the Suncoast hotel-casino in northwest Las Vegas.
Heller’s campaign spokesman Keith Schipper confirmed the president would also appear at a fundraiser for the senator. A time and location for the private event have not yet been released.
Heller is considered the most vulnerable Republican senator running for re-election this year because he’s the only one running in a state that Democrat Hillary Clinton won in 20
