Theres no Ready for Elizabeth super PAC. Nor is there a Prepping for Kamala, Begging for Booker or Salivating for Sanders.
Unlike the run-up to the 2016 campaign, when the Ready for Hillary super PAC served to stoke Hillary Clintons entry into the Democratic presidential race, there are no candidate-specific PACs forming this time around to either lay the groundwork for a campaign or to create a sense of anticipation.
Is this a problem? That depends on which Democrat you ask.
Some Democrats are surprised and worry it could be a signal the party isnt completely prepared to do what it takes to defeat President Trump in his reelection bid.
Others say its just a manifestation of what many believe will be a much more wide-open race than was seen in 2016.
Its possible that dozens of candidates could enter the 2020 race on the Democratic side.
Etc...

I would use corrupt, hypocritical, bottom-feeding, anti-American, lying, power-hungry, mentally-challenged, treasonous, living in an alternate universe, uneducated, and the list goes on, all work for me.
These possible candidates know that Trump will do to them what he did to Jeb. End any future chances of being President.
I’m guessing the RATs will throw Bernie out there to be the designated
loser. What younger candidate would want the stain of losing to Trump?
No one who wants to run again.
“no . . . Begging for Booker.”
Booker is the name of my ancient basset hound. I had no idea he was running for office . . . And as a DEMOCRAT! No more dog biscuits for you, Booker! Not unless you repent!
Could be Biden as well. Don’t laugh, underestimate him at your peril.
I hear Biden and Kerry want to try
Kerry is a joke, but Biden could be a tough one, generally he does come off as a likable guy.
1976 was right after Watergate, when “Republican” was a four-letter word. Dems could have had a rhesus monkey as their candidate and still won.
1992 was right after Bush I’s betrayal of his famous “read my lips” promise ... plus, Ross Perot was in there, vacuuming up 23% of the vote
This time, Republicans are not playing catchup, the Democrats are
And what policies are they going to run on? “Make America Weak Again”?
Colorado governor Hickenlooper went missing and we find out that he was invited to the Bilderberg conference for a secret meeting. There’s your presidential candidate.
Someone needs to put together a photo shop of Willie Brown with his pants down around his ankles and Kamala Harris on her knees in front of him...caption could read “earning her turn.”
Not so. Maxine Waters.
Or a symptom of the fact that the Clinton Foundation still has enough cash to cause mischief and to scuttle anyone they don’t like.
Once in my life a long time ago I messed in my pants and it was a major embarrassment. That’s what the Democratic Party is in store for in 2018 and 2020.
Indeed, it’s all over but the shouting!
They should start worrying about Donald Trump Jr. in 2024.
Plugs is a douche.
“the Ready for Hillary super PAC...”
Right there they should have known this was a doomed campaign. Nobody was “excited” for Hillary, not even her own staff. The best they could muster was “ready”. Like you have to get yourself “ready” for a tax audit, or a root canal.
Possibly, but both of those election years the Dems were going against a weak incumbent that the GOP wasn’t very enthusiastic about. I don’t think they will have that opportunity this time around, and I think a lot of potential Dem candidates know it.
There is a difference between volunteering to be “the guy that beat Ford” or “the guy that beat Bush” and volunteering to be “the guy that got beaten by Trump”.
Hmm, “Hands” Biden as a Dem candidate in the post-#MeToo world?
I’m not seeing it.
What?? Hillary is still in great shape! With enough braces for her spine and limbs, the corrective shoes, the anti-seizure blue prism glasses, plenty of Valium and cough drops, shes ready for campaign season to start!
Seems that is exactly how she got a head.
You left out:
Flake
Corker
Jeb Bush
and probably a few more that slip my mind at the moment.
