The 2020 presidential race might just be a face-off between Donald Trump and the man who plays him on TV.
Alec Baldwin who has portrayed POTUS on Saturday Night Live since 2016 said in an interview with Howard Stern on Monday that if he ran for president, he could unseat Trump.
In the interview embedded above, Baldwin and Sterns conversation turns to the 2020 election, and Baldwin admits that he can only think of a couple people who I think could beat Trump.
Ive got a name for you: Alec Baldwin, Stern replies, prompting Baldwin to say, If I ran, I would win Hands down, I would win. It would be the funniest, most exciting, most crazy campaign.
Though Baldwins idea sounds like a joke at first Ive gotta do Match Game! he suddenly remembers, referencing his current gig as the host of ABCs summer game show he later becomes more thoughtful about the idea of running for president, shooting down Sterns insinuation that he is the hope of the Democratic Party.
Im only saying [I would run] because people dont really have a sense of whos going to come up [on the Democrats side], Baldwin continues. Somebody greats going to come up, I hope. But the only reason I say that is because Id love to run for that kind of position, to have things be very common sense. Theres so many things this country needs to do that are so obvious.
Alec...it’s pretty bad when your own daughter won’t vote for you.
Delusional, like all the far left.
Exactly. He has no chance.
Wow.. Hollywood and the opposition media could not be more of touch!
Alec has 4 Closets to keep all his Dirt in
What a Dope!
Please, you insane SOB! Run for president!
Hollywood is repulsive because its filled with repulsive people. We have people without values lecturing to us about values. Enough of the hypocrisy. goldstategop
The idea of casting couch alumni expounding upon what is outrageous is outrageous.

The United States has become a place where entertainers and professional athletes are mistaken for people of importance.
QUOTES by ROBERT A. HEINLEIN
Robert A. Heinlein Quotes and Sayings!:
[T]here seems to have been an actual decline in rational thinking. The United States had become a place where entertainers and professional athletes were mistaken for people of importance. They were idolized and treated as leaders; their opinions were sought on everything and they took themselves just as seriously-after all, if an athlete is paid a million or more a year, he knows he is important ... so his opinions of foreign affairs and domestic policies must be important, too, even though he proves himself to be ignorant and sub-literate every time he/she opens his/her mouth.
— Robert A. Heinlein
Do it, dumb*ss.
Do it.
Do it.
Please.
He could always try and get in a fist fight with 50% of the voters.
Yea, go for it!
Running for the office of president only requires that Alec Baldwin be over 35 and a natural born citizen.
Both Alec Baldwin and I are equally qualified to run for president.
The vetting process prior to the people voting adds the final condition required by the Constitution to become president.
He’d have about as much a chance as a snowflake in hell.
Baldwin-DeNiro ticket.
“Vote for us or we will break your face”
“You want proof, ask my ex-wife”
Ok ... I got it. He’s crazy!
IIRC Stern didn’t want Trump to run, because he knew of the things Trump told him and he thought it would work against him, and also he thought at the time that Trump wasn’t really serious about.
I don’t know what he thinks of Trump now.
Hey,Alex, go bourdain yourself!
And they say Trump is crazy.
Well ...ah ... temperamental actor.
Must be back on the sauce and pills.
We all have crazy libs we avoid at all costs. I doubt we would ever vote for them or members of their tribe.
