Attorney General Jeff Sessions is making an aggressive new move to crack down on illegal immigration, announcing Monday that the Trump administration will no longer accept asylum claims based on fear of domestic violence, gang violence or other “personal crime.”
“Our nation’s immigration laws provide for asylum to be granted to individuals who have been persecuted, or who have a well-founded fear of persecution, on account of their membership in a ‘particular social group,’ but most victims of personal crimes do not fit this definition — no matter how vile and reprehensible the crime perpetrated against them," a Justice Department statement said.

Instead of hearing drive-by shootings in the heat of the urban summer night, you’d be hearing drive-by sissy slapping and hair pulling. ER’s would be treating scratches and bites instead of gunshot wounds.
Don’t be barking up this tree when it comes to Sessions and immigration.....the man has lived his life fighting this and he finally is in a position to act on those years invested in trying to stop it. The man gets an A-plus and I will defend him on this issue fully.

Yep, let them go to Costa Rica, Chile, Panama or Argentina. These are the safest and least corrupt in that neck of the woods. Common Language and to some degree heritage. Let’s not pretend this isn’t ALL about sucking up tax payer dollars.

Exactly..and I’m beyond tired of it. Their cringe worthy protests and demands have done nothing but cause me to oppose them being here....they need to do all that in their home countries and leave us to ours!

To rise their numbers until they can move into political offices local and otherwise and install Sharaih Law within their communities while they infiltrate the rest of this country.

The smaller cities or towns are hit first by the Mexicans, etc. because it’s usually cheaper to live there. Then they hit the poorer part of larger cities. Once they’ve taken those over they infiltrate and displace black neighborhoods.
I’ve watched it all, in that order, in our smaller city surrounded by small towns.
About damn time. You can't get asylum in the USA because you claim your country has gangs or your husband beats you.

Wasn’t asylum previously based on people fleeing from a persecuting/repressive government?
BULL...you have no clue what it takes to begin threading a dept to operate as you want, to rid the old wood, to determine how far you can go, and to top it off make certain what you do is going to ‘stick’ with a renegade congress and army of refugee activists biting at your heals and judges suing.
It’s been one year and you’re complaining??? How long did it take you to settle into whatever job you’re doing....this is thousands of people over a broad network of depts.....so don’t bark up this tree as I said.

I completely agree with you on this. I have been critical of Sessions due to a seemingly lackluster performance of his job on his part but on this he gets my support.
I too voted heavily on the immigration issue. Coming here with a gang banger kid (MS-13) from El Salvador won’t get him away from the gang life. It will simply bring more of that gang life here.
The same thing happens when people move from the cities to get their kids who got involved in street gangs away from that life. Before long that kid has started a new street gang chapter in that small town school with all the crime that follows. It’s how these gangs spread throughout the nation.
When someone competent takes a new job, it doesn’t take him more than one year to adjust and to produce results, it takes at most some weeks, you know it, right?
But for the sake of argument, let’s assume Sessions is still adjusting to his new job. But in the meantime, trends are not getting stable, much less better, they are getting much much worse. Over the past year of “Sessions adjustment”, the number of border crossing has quadrupled, the number of catch & release has more than doubled, the backlog in dossier processing has lengthened exponentially, sanctuary cities are more brazen than ever, with absolutely no consequence to them. So what do you mean when you say Sessions gets a “A-plus”? Are you totally ignorant of basic facts, are you talking out of your arse or are you confusing reality with wishful thinking? Enquiring minds would like to know...

I think what many (here on FR) don't realize is that to be successful in stopping the invasion of our country requires more than just one 'action'.
Trump is dealing with those who allowed porous border control. Sessions is dealing with those who take advantage of that porous border.
It's like draining the swamp. Trump is cutting off the water supply, Sessions is the one that has to dive to the bottom and open the drain.
If we don't stop the massive influx of illegal foreign invaders, NOTHING ELSE WILL MATTER.
Not one illegal should be allowed to stay. If at the border they are caught they should be processed, and then put back over the border, and that is after doing time in a barbed wire, Sheriff Joe style desert prison
