The US says its discussions with North Korea are moving "more quickly than expected" ahead of the summit in Singapore on Tuesday.
The preliminary talks between officials have been taking place ahead of the unprecedented first meeting.
The White House also confirms that President Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un will hold a one-on-one meeting, with only translators present.
The outcome may determine the fate of North Korea's nuclear programme.
The US insists it will accept nothing less than complete denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula.
North Korea has said it is willing to commit to denuclearisation, but that term is open to interpretation.
It is also unclear what concessions Pyongyang could demand in return - which makes the summit very hard to predict, according to analysts....

It’s not a matter of risk...it’s a matter of changing the military leadership who were in the way and control......I think we had people in there working with Kim.....Pompeo wasn’t up there and all our ships for nothing......I also think they took out the nuclear leaders.
It’s going to be interesting how they Protect Kim now in his own country? HE’s going to be going home....or is he?

My impression from what news I have been able to watch, I have been watching Sky News, is that most of these channels and commentators are too pessimistic and I think even want some kind of failure.
I watched some of the Networks and they were terrible, they don’t even have any more coverage going on, I just checked. T
The single most important meeting in decades and they pretty much blow it off. Lord of this were Obama, round the clock coverage.
I have think some sort of deal has been achieved, how many trips did Pompeo really make.

I flipped over to Fox News Network and it appears Chris Wallace is not tired of Losing.
Like a pig in slop, he just loves rolling around in manufactured concern.

He has mastered the appearance of confident authority, when in fact he’s a robotron spewing unintelligible disagreements where otherwise credit is due.
Well the rest of the world was watching because singapores live streamed was farmed out worldwide......heck people in India were building sand faces of the kim/trump summit on their beaches.

The real Summit took place in the Forbidden City in Beijing, China during the Winter Olympics in South Korea.
The big envelope delivered was Kim Jong Un’s signature and agreement to whatever we offered.
This is just for public consumption and plans going forward.
Remember during the Winter Olympics when Kim’s sister was standing next to VP Pence? Remember when the Fake Stream Media was saying how tough she looked and beautiful (haha!) next to VP Pence. Anyway, that was a signal they met and agreed to her brother and POTUS to meet up in the Forbidden city.
It’s a done deal. We should get an announcement that the Korean war is over, and the peace process has begun.
There will probably be more meetings for the denuclearize and reunification of the two Koreas. Time line is 5 to 10 years.
Word is the Kim family has agreed to step aside, but they are looking for assurances that they will not be tried for crimes against humanity. My guess is Kim family will move. I would not be surprised if they relocate to China or even the U.S.

Reminds me a bit of the Trump and Carson interaction in the debates
when there was some confusion about the order of coming on stage.
Trump stayed with Carson and showed his caring empathetic nature.
I could not stand Wallace being that stupid and walked out. How does Fox have so many NeverTrumpers in their editorial staff. He is a so called expert and has no clue how a negotiation works.
You’re right, big public meetings of this sort are formalities. Negotiations were done out of our sight, weeks if not months ago. There is already a signed deal. Administrations with any sense would not leave the results of a major meeting like this up to chance.
