Report on Russia noted numerous issues but hidden in Issue #27 is an obscure piece of information that former Senator and current Attorney General Jeff Sessions oversaw the small team of five foreign policy experts for the Trump campaign. Included in this small group were Carter Page and George Papadopoulos. According to the House Intel report, the future President was under pressure to put together a foreign policy team in March of 2016. A number of seasoned Republican foreign policy experts were unwilling to jump on the Trump train.
Because of this pressure from the press to show he had experts on his team, candidate Trump named then Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions as the chairman of his National Security Advisory Committee (NSAC). A few weeks later, candidate Trump released the names of five people on his team. The list included Carter Page and George Papadopoulos.

Sessions is the Deep State plant from the very beginning!
Now thats an interesting piece of information.
Yes he is, and I would go so far as to say that he is the “insurance policy.” DJT will go down in history as the greatest president ever in spite of his backstabbing AG.
It’s hardly an obscure fact if candidate Trump told it to CNN and everyone else during the campaign.

...Trump’s team of foreign policy advisers, led by Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions, consists of counter-terrorism expert Walid Phares, energy consultant George Papadopoulos, former Defense Department inspector general Joe Schmitz, managing partner of Global Energy Capital Carter Page and former Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg...
Looks like Sessions may have been a plant from the start.
Sessions was targeted from the beginning as were those advisors.
It’s a Magoo drop!
Indeed he was!
When is Sessions going to resign?
Anyone who cares to check my posting history would see that I have been saying this for about a year. There is no other explanation for Sessions' actions. He was a Trojan horse who joined the Trump campaign, not because he is compromised, but because he was then a member of the senate. Most GOP senators were opposed to Trump during the campaign, and Sessions almost certainly was too, albeit secretly.
We have Sessions to thank for this endless "investigation," from the sneaky recusal question during his confirmation hearings to his lightning fast recusal after being sworn in, and all of his actions since then, all point to one thing.
Sessions is a man who refuses to resign even though his boss has done everything possible to get him to resign. His former senate colleagues have threatened the president with impeachment if Trump fires Sessions. A real supporter of the president would remove himself from the situation so as to give Trump room to hire an AG with no ties to the Congress. Why does Sessions refuse to leave? There is only one answer.
There was also a report on TruthFeed that Sessions is a cooperating witness for Mueller’s witch hunt. At this point, what reason is there to doubt it.
Truthfeed otherwise known as Pravdachow.
Do you have anything other than baseless smears?
You’re not helping your credibility at all.
Maybe, but not based on this. Papadopoulus and Page were brought in to the Trump campaign when Sam Clovis joined in August 2016. Sessions had supported Trump long before.
I too have stated many times on this forum that Sessions was a plant from the get go. Nobody, and I mean absolutely nobody, could be as weak and feckless as Sessions is unless it was intentional. He has been a tool of the the Deep State all along.
When Trump finally removes him I hope its done in the most uncerimoniously disrespectful and humiliating way possible.
Looks like Carter Page and George Papadopoulos may have been targeted to and placed to get Sessions and the entire Trump National Security Team under illegal FISA spying.
If so, this would explain a lot.
Pretty serious stuff.
I doubt if Sessions was complicit because it would have been much better to have had all of the FBI spys distributed throughout the Trump campaign to broaden the universe of Trump team members under the FISA surveillance net
I'm still in the Sessions corner and I feel he and Donald Trump have been engaging in WWF style theater playing the opposition to facilitate their investigations and allow the guilty feel that they can run wild and get away with anything and allow them to dig their graves deeper.
It's very probable that we will end up owing Sessions both an apology and sincere thanks now that Trump is playing his hand.
It is also my belief that the reason the IG report has been so delayed is because is because strategy has worked so well that the investigations went much further than anyone originally anticipated.
I may be wrong on this but we will soon find out.
My bet is that Sessions will either be reluctantly dragged, kicking and screaming, to start pursuing the guilty and/or he will “be forced” to appoint a Special Prosecutor to investigate the DOJ and FBI that has proven that it covering up is misconduct and criminality and is totally unable to investigate itself.
Regardless, in Washington the cover up is worse than the crime (an the crimes are pretty bad in and of themselves) and whether by twist of fate or intelligent design, a huge number of the Obama/Clinton holdover operatives have seriously compromised themselves and if Team Trump has played it's cards right and lot of those people who thought they could run wild with impunity are going to get fired and some may even go to jail.
Gowdy and Sessions marching in the same fifth column from the get go.
Sessions was and is a Sea Island Plant.
