There’s no such thing as an illegal immigrant. There are illegal aliens, but no illegal immigrants.

Any and all definitions of immigrant in the US Codes relating to immigration refer to someone who has some kind of legal status. So when you call someone an “immigrant”, regardless of the word “illegal”, you’re halfway to legitimizing them.

Excellent clarification. Leftist are expert at manipulating language. It is all they have. Propaganda is their primary tool. I wish our side would confront each and every cleverly mis appropriated word. As Dennis Prager says, “clarity” is essential for intelligent people to converse/debate. Illegal Alien is precisely correct.
