I remember being given a form at "Reception Center" at Fort Knox in '69 listing what seemed to be several hundred political organizations.Glancing at them they looked like left wing type organizations...but there could have been right wing ones as well.
I've wondered from time to time what might have happened if I had said "yes" to any of them.Leavenworth? Discharge?

Maybe back then. I went out with a gal from Newcomb College in NOLA in ‘68 and found out she belonged to SDS. Dumped he like a hot tater out of worry about being reported. LOL! Guilt by association.
