The Senate has not spoken on a Sessions ‘replacement’. There would be an ‘acting’ Attorney General’, until a new nominee is nominated. President Trump could fire the ‘acting’ Attorney General as well.

And some are unaware that Sessions made his recusal intentions clear during his confirmation hearings and want to pretend Trump wasn’t paying attention.
