The problem will be the unemployable users, who is going to pay for them, are we just going to let them starve?

The problem will be the unemployable users

Anyone who before legalization was responsible enough to not use illegal marijuana will after legalization remain responsible enough to not become unemployable.

Put marijuana in the NCO and Officers Clubs, and you’ll never have to worry about manpower shortages.

The effect on military readiness? I do have concerns there.

There’s FAR more drunks. I have to deal with it every day, even at the professional level.

Late, sick all day.

Pot smokers are more difficult to spot.

Civilized countries used to maintain penal colonies to deal with exactly that problem you describe.

We already take care of those people. Ever heard of the prison system?

At least now the dopers will have some incentive to work so they can get high - just like lots of boozers already do.

No, you're going to get a head tax on prosperous businesses to pay for a bureaucracy of "services." Homelessness is a stop on the road.

See: King County, WA, which between public and private funding spends over ONE BILLION DOLLARS on homelessness and the accompanying pathologies.
