I don’t remember the “classy period”. It’s always been a Wild West sort of place where people said what they really meant. You know.... genuine.

Well, maybe "classy" was the wrong term. But a modicum of respectfulness was had in the past.

Yes, I too remember those 3 days in October of 2001.

We’ve never held our adversaries in esteem. We’ve always driven them before us and enjoyed the lamentations of their women.

Bourdain was always entertaining and I will miss him. I don’t think his politics was a big part of him personally but more of his “act”. But if Kathy Griffin dies, sorry but I am going to dance on that dirt.
