Fewer than 10 Philadelphia Eagles were expected to visit Donald Trump at White House: report
Even if President Donald Trump hadn’t rescinded the invitation for the Philadelphia Eagles to visit the White House, the festivities in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday afternoon would have looked far different than in years past.
That’s because fewer than 10 members of the Eagles were expected to attend, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
“In the end, [Eagles owner] Jeff Lurie decided that he didn’t want to make it a sideshow and wanted to keep this contingent really small,” Garafolo said Monday night . “I did not get an exact number but I was told it wasn’t 20, it wasn’t 10. It was gonna be less than that. Obviously, that decision by the team and by Jeffrey Lurie did not please Donald Trump and the White House.”
Not even ten, eh? What a bunch of losers.

Optics wise, it would have been a gift to the press to have the event with so few players outside. That’s why I said he should have set an RSVP date to know who was coming. They could have had the small group do a photo op in the Oval Office.
