How can a person who understands the terrible price Christ paid with His death, presume He missed payment for some sins?

Assumes that we believe there's some defect in Christ's atonement, which is false -- we don't.

There may be defects in us, however, in our acceptance of that perfect atonement.

Try again.

If you read AMPU’s post you’d see he was responding to a Romam Catholic in an attempt to correct him.

Try again.

“Assumes that we believe there’s some defect in Christ’s atonement, which is false — we don’t.”

If you believe the atonement was perfect, than which sins did Christ not pay for?

If you accept His atonement for all your sins, you are a saint in Christ. His righteousness is yours. His life is yours.

If you still have sins not atoned for by Christ, you are not His and headed for hellfire.
