He will. Trump is a master of timing. Announce the”controversial” pardon first that triggers the liberals, then follow with pardoning a minority with a drug conviction.

I confess (again) that I was not an enthusiastic Trump supporter during the campaign and I expected him to be marginally better than Hillary would have been. I expected him to be more like Arnold and less like Reagan.
Now I think he might be the best president in my lifetime (it’s between him and Reagan) and I’m not sure the answer to “best president since ______.”

He needs a pardon so that he can have his right to vote restored. Also, andl injustice was done to him and this will clean his record. No, he cannot get the time back that he served in prison, but he can have his name cleared, and President Trump absolutely did the right thing by pardoning him.
And at the same time, is Rosie O’Donnell going to be charged for doing five times the same thing?

I would have pardoned him on the day that I was inaugurated, but I suppose that it is certainly better late than never. D’Souza was unfairly persecuted for daring to criticize Obama, and I am beyond thrilled that President Trump has reversed this injustice. D’Souza cannot get back the time that he served, but this is a very good second best. Now he can hold his head up high, because everyone knows that he did nothing to justify his treatment.
Pardoning that black grandmother at Kim Kardashian’s request would be a real fine political maneuver.

And he deserves it. Yet another political prosecution undone from the former Judge Roland Frieseler last admin.

The right to vote, right to own a firearm and probably makes it easier to travel abroad.
