Kim Kardashian West met with President Donald Trump and other officials, including senior adviser Jared Kushner, at the White House on Wednesday to discuss prison reform.
"Great meeting with @KimKardashian today, talked about prison reform and sentencing," the President tweeted following the afternoon meeting, posting a picture alongside a stoic Kardashian West in the Oval Office. Kardashian West, who wore a black suit with bright yellow stilettos, was spotted leaving the White House with a small entourage about an hour after she arrived.

Chick probably is an expert in the penal system due to fornicating with many of the prison clientele.

Kim who? While I am the first to state that many inmates deserve what they get, we should not, as a people, subject them to inhumane treatment as a matter of fact - that makes us no better than them in some ways. In the matter of violent felons, I advocate for the “eye for an eye” sentencing; if we are going to keep certain elements of our society incarcerated, we should at least not be barbarians about it.

PR stunt for Kim, not Trump. Geez.
Chuck Colson and Jack Eckerd, founder of the Eckerds drug store chain in Florida, partnered on this issue for many years. Both dead now. They essentially wanted the focus shifted from jail time to restitution for property crimes and non-violent offenses.
Kardashian and Ivanka are lobbying for clemency for an Alabama inmate and great-grandmother who was sentenced for life based on a conviction for running a multi-million dollar cocaine operation. Supposedly Alice Johnson was some sort of drug kingpin and was sentenced for life. First time offense, non-violent conviction.

Dead on. The law enforcement and prison industry has a vested interest in creating a high recidivism rate—repeat contracts. Just like the welfare office wants more people on welfare, not less. This is just simple business practice and seems obvious. That most conservatives can’t seem to grasp this is not a good sign.
