We have had quite the rain all winter and now into alleged summer. Part of the problem...lots of rain that has already saturated.

Personally I will never forget May-June 2003 here. Almost 30 days of continuous rain and drear. Never forget because my nephew made a disco invitation CD for my sister’s birthday party marked June 2003, and the night before it was STILL rainy and she was worried she could not have her outdoor plan. Luckily, it turned out to be the very end of that horrid month and her outdoor party went off OK, albeit we had to use pavement instead of just her back yard.

Let’s hope it’s over soon.

The only good thing I can say about it is that the rain has calmed-down what has been a very unusual pollen season. I’ve never been as sick with allergies as I was from first of April through middle of May. And even when it had rained the day before, we’d go out to the car in the morning, and it was golden with pollen again.

I’ve been able to breathe when I lie down to sleep, the last couple of weeks ;-)
