After years of a true fan I am continuing to lose interest in the NFL. I’m looking forward to the high school and college football season. The overpaid pompous primadonnas in the NFL can kneel all they want - I won’t be watching.

Last season was the first time I did not watch a minute of regular season NFL football since I was in elementary school (back in the 1970s). It was very nice to have my fall weekends back. Lots of hikes in the woods and lazy Sunday afternoon drives through some very scenic backroads where I got lots of fresh produce from roadside farm stands and found a lot of new restaurants.

I have a new Sunday routine in the fall now and NFL football is not a part of it.
