Is it such a surprise that people would leave a party that constantly tells them there is something inherently wrong and evil about them because of their race, and gloats over the possibility that they will soon be a minority, and relishes the notion that they are supposedly dying off?
As Asian and new citizen, I found whites are not as cohesive as other ethnic groups. Historically they are majority and did good job building country. But it’s strange to me that they don’t unite around sovereignty of country. That’s so unfortunate. They have many strengths, ingenuity, hardworking, idealistic, brave and courageous(more so overseas than domestically)generous, open minded, artistic, humorous and many more. But if they don’t put sovereignty above all, they hardly form a nation. Ironically it is people like me that immigrated from outside America care more about sovereignty like border than whites. A country is defined by its culture. A culture is defined by its people. After I fully embraced American culture, I found myself minority. In my own country a border is eerie place where no one goes. Any invader will alert entire country. We act like one. Any country is like that except America. I’m disappointed
I only read the intro blurb and not the entire article, as any good FReeper would do. While the SJW’s and race baiters drove whites out of the democrat party, there is an economic element to the division too. Anyone who makes a decent, but not outrageously wealthy living is also abandoning the democrat party. It’s not the party for the makers, it’s the party of the takers. The average middle class voter who sees his earnings confiscated by the government with nothing returned.

They didn't really care when it was only white male working class, but when it became white female working class as it did in '16 they still blamed the voter. Another glance showed it had spread to black male working class and then the respective middle class demographics started to get nibbled away. At this point the MSM started to run stories like this.
But seriously, if the question becomes, as it has, "why don't people we say we hate want to vote for us?" then we've left the realm of politics and entered the one of fantasy. The glue of the Democrat party is hatred - they took that step knowingly and willingly in order to build a coalition of people they didn't hate, and that turned out to be nearly no one.
Anyone who works an honest day’s work should not be a Democrat.
Anyone who is white (even if they don’t work an honest day’s work) should not be a Democrat because the Democrat party is viciously anti-white.
The left opposes borders because the left is internationalist and has always hated America. I saw this years ago because I was once one of them, at least on the fringes, but now it should be obvious to everyone: they are trying to destroy this country as an independent, sovereign nation.
The Democratic Party is literally the party of exterminating the white population. It has its counterparts in Canada and all over Western Europe as well. A large percentage of the population sees the population replacement strategy for what it is now, and are forever lost to these parties.

Like this is a big surprise. Let’s see, consistently insult and slur whites while embracing identity politics but then insist whites don’t have an identity (except for being evil) or that they can’t play.

That’s well and good but still far to many white rats. Also, probably these 3rd world worthies we are letting in tend to back fill the fleeing whites.
It's all about guilt.Sadly,we decided not to pick our own cotton centuries ago.The descendants of those who did have discovered that victim-hood is profitable and...voila!...we have today's democrat Party.As they say,when robbing Peter to pay Paul,one can always depend on Paul's cooperation.
There are more then a few whites in this country who accept responsibility for serious errors made 200+ years ago.

Maybe voters DON'T want to be targets?
Dems have the 21 year old brick throwing crowd in the palm of their hand. And those who have rejected all sexual norms. And the illegals. And the college professors.
With the latest rebellion by Kanye they might start to lose the urban residents.
The important part of the story comes near the end: yes, the Republican Party is ceding liberal white Republicans to the Democrats in return for conservative white Democrats, but there are far more conservative white Democrats than liberal white Republicans, and more importantly, liberal white Republicans live in places where the Democrats already rule, whereas conservative white Democrats are disproportionately concentrated in swing states.
How it is that the establishment GOP thought it would be easier to court the Latino vote (who have always voted at least 2-1 Democrat) than Midwestern whites I will never understand, but thankfully Trump came along hopefully just in time to save them from their stupidity. The game has now been exposed, and I don’t see the GOP turning its back on this group any time soon.
