Makes sense - though I don’t know why Weird Al is hatin’ on the Oxford Comma.....I did like the distinction of “doing good” vs. “doing well”.

They may not know how to use the kiosk, or are tired, in a hurry, and just don’t want to deal with it.
People were unsure about ATMs at one time. Anything new takes people time to get used to, and learn how to do new ways of doing things.
Extra work means extra cash people burn on fast food in order to go back to work.
My guess is that the demand for burgers has risen.
Haven’t been to MCD in years, and not because I don’t enjoy burgers, fries, and coke.
Will spare the gory details but suffice it to say unless robots unwrap, prepare, and wrap/bag the food, it’s a no-go for me.
Also they switched from frozen beef to fresh on the Quarter Pounders and are advertising “cooked to order”. My guess is this requires additional labor.
True. I was in this crappy neighborhood and the line was LONG. 25 PEOPLE DEEP and no one was using the kiosks. My GF just told me to use the kiosk and I got the order in.
It’s like monkey see, monkey do. I think a few guys followed after me because they got tired of waiting..
Lighten up, Francis.
The question mark you put in is not correct. :-)
I’m probably considered old by many, but I much prefer using the McD’s app rather than sitting in the 20 minute drive thru. Except that McDonald’s app is complete garbage and only works about 10% of the time, but I try, and I’m sure one day they’ll actually get it fixed, Having said that, McDonald’s is generally not my solution for getting fast food.
In N Out has people outside who have their tablets who does that. But I never thought McD’s has an app for it until now LOL
McDonalds across the USA is on a hiring spree for the summer 2018.

Who is going to maintain the kiosks and burger flipping robots?
Funny, I walk into Chick-Fil-A, and they have just as many first job grunts working, but customer service is always outstanding.....
I have had great service at McDonald’s and crap service at McDonald’s...
I’ve never had crap service at Chick-Fil-A....
Its not the work force as much as its how they are trained and managed.
Completely agree with you. But I was talking about fast-food in general. The bar is not too high.
Yes, CFA is a cut above.
You are correct. That question mark was an error. Thank you for your help in improving my writing/editing skills. I like being corrected. It keeps me on my toes...
“McDonalds says they expire to hire about 10,000 restaurant employees in Pennsylvania alone.”
Expire?? You mean aspire? What kinda feral retard writes this stuff??
Don't axe me ... axe them ...
There’s a job at McDonalds for every person who has no record of accomplishment in the private sector-—Obama, the Clintons, the Podesta brothers, McConnell, Donna Brazile, and thousands of other public parasites.
“McDonalds says they expire to hire “ Hope their new employees understand what that sentence means.
One techie can maintain a dozen McDonalds joints. Robots last a long time if properly designed.
