I have heard rumblings that the GOP is really hoping for a blue wave in November. The GOPe’s worst fear is that they gain seats, and are pressured by donors to impeach.

Because win or lose, an attempt at impeachment will be made early next year (if it gets a vote or not is another thing.)

There is ZERO chance of Trump being removed from office....

While it only takes a simple majority to bring charges of impeachment in the house... it takes 2/3 of the Senate to vote for impeachment to convict.. and the reality is... though I do believe the R’s ineptitude does have them heading toward losing the house this fall, the will just as likely gain 6+ seats in the Senate.... and there is no way you are getting a senate conviction.

Impeachment is red meat to the Trump haters, nothing more.
