Many have laughed at Trump's concerns, but on Sunday, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein gave momentum to President Trump's belief that the FBI may have spied on his 2016 presidential campaign for political reasons. Rosenstein did so by ordering the Justice Department's inspector general to investigate whether there has been "impropriety or political motivation" in the FBI's Trump-related investigations.
Trump had called for just this kind of investigation earlier on Sunday with the following tweet:
I hereby demand, and will do so officially tomorrow, that the Department of Justice look into whether or not the FBI/DOJ infiltrated or surveilled the Trump Campaign for Political Purposes - and if any such demands or requests were made by people within the Obama Administration! 1:37 PM - May 20, 2018

Good!
It’s bullshiite. The doj IG can’t investigate Brennan, the CIA, Clapper, the State Department, Fusion GPS, etc.
It was a purposeful sabotage move by Rosensessions, to head off further calls for a new Special Counsel. Which is what we need.
It’s failing already, btw.
Go Rosenstein and Sessions!!
Neither one of those chuckleheads has done a damned thing.

How about a wrecking bar? That is a tool used in construction and demolition. It’s solid steel, about 1/2 inch thick and 3 ft. long, with a crook and claws on one end, for pulling nails, etc., and a flat area on the other end for prying and ripping. It will do as much damage as a spanner or a monkey wrench if you throw it into the proverbial democrat gearbox.
I like the wrecking bar. They’re heavy.
It is my understanding that the IG hands over what he learns to US Attorney Huber out in Utah, who can convene Grand Juries and indict the bad guys where appropriate.
For any wrench.
“make recommendations”
...These senior prosecutors will report directly to the Attorney General and the Deputy Attorney General [Rod Rosenstein], as appropriate, and will make recommendations as to whether any matters not currently under investigation should be opened, whether any matters currently under investigation require further resources, or whether any matters merit the appointment of a Special Counsel.
Sessions revealed Thursday in the letter to top Republican lawmakers in both chambers of Congress that Huber was the senior federal prosecutor leading that effort...
Haters gonna hate
And the results so far? ZIP. Heck, most of these folks still work at DOJ/FBI, still have their clearances, etc. Nothing is happening.
Haters gonna hate.
And slackers gonna slack.
See Sessions.

I think Scotty said “spanner” at least once on the old Star Trek.
Haters gonna hate
And, just for the record, I dont hate him. I just want him to do his damned job.

Rosenstein is a never trumper and this is his latest sham cover up.
Weve asked for justice, demanded justice, sued for justice, yet it seems beyond our reach no matter how much is exposed about our betters.
Im sure political advisors are advising their candidates to keep the pressure mounting until November, so much that there is a Red Tsaumi, never mind a wave, but most of us are boiling over and merely waiting to vote isnt going to cut it this time!
Correct.
In fact, a "monkey wrench" is different from a "crescent wrench" although still an adjustable wrench. It more closely resembles a pipe wrench, but with smooth straight jaws, meant to turn a hex-head nut or bolt, instead of the curved gripper jaws meant for pipe. It has a nut above the handle
“It’s Bicycle Repairman!’’ “See how he uses that spanner!’’
We also have "spanners" in American nomenclature. They are usually large dimention (1"-2") wrenches cut out of heavy gauge sheet steel, as opposed to a forged and much thicker conventional wrench.
Like the OEM wrench for your table or skil saw, only bigger.
Well, my "bike" is a little more heavy duty than that.
