The FBI and its friends in the mainstream media want to make the Bureaus spying on the Trump campaign seem as dry, innocuous, and non-cloak-and-dagger as possible under the circumstances. An elderly professor contacted three Trump advisers Carter Page, George Papadopoulos, and Sam Clovis.
He met with Page at least several times and maintained an email correspondence with him. He met with Clovis once for coffee. He met several times for dinner with Papadopoulos. He was looking for indications of Russian influence in the campaign. Apparently, he found none.
As dry as this story sounds, it still constitutes the federal government spying on the campaign of the candidate of the party out of power. Its still a scandal.
It could a use a little spice, though. This report by Chuck Ross at the Daily Caller supplies it.
According to Ross:
Papadopoulos made the trip to (London) and had dinner multiple times with [the spying professor] and a Turkish woman described as his assistant. Sources familiar with Papadopouloss version of their meetings said Halper randomly asked Papadopoulos whether he knew about Democratic National Committee emails that had been hacked and leaked by Russians.
Papadopoulos strongly denied the allegation, sources familiar with his version of the exchange have told The DCNF [Daily Caller News Foundation]. Halper grew agitated and pressed Papadopoulos on the topic. Papadopoulos believes that Halper was recording him during some of their interactions, sources said.
[The professors] assistant. . .brought up Russians and emails over drinks with Papadopoulos. [She] also flirted heavily with Papadopoulos and attempted to meet him in Chicago, where he lives, a source told TheDCNF.
If true, the FBI didnt just use an elderly professor to spy. It also used a temptress.
This isnt as juicy as parts of the anti-Trump dossier, but it may have the virtue (so to speak) of being true.
Wait til they get a good beating in 2020 when President TRUMP runs again with the power of the Presidency & unlimited amounts of $$$$ & resources!!
We did all that illegal stuff to protect Trump.
They should run that justification by Chuck-U and Piglosi and say they did it to protect Clinton.
Then watch their reaction. But spying on the opposition party’s campaign is OK when Democrats do it to Republicans.
They tried to overthrow a duly elected president. They committed treason as far I can discern.
Heads need to roll.
This was all done in the interest of the Trump campaign and it worked perfectly, because Trump hasn’t done anything illegal and it’s all because the FBI was there to ensure that the Russian’s didn’t get involved with his campaign.... Sounds a little far fetched, but that’s only because it is.
This is the case of the Democrat party candidate and sitting Democrat President using government resources and agencies to spy on the Republican party candidate. The key conspirators at the FBI, the CIA, the Justice Department and the main stream press should all be rounded up and jailed.
Seditious Conspiracy to overthrow the United States Government, Treason.
Public Hangings on the White House Lawn.
Exactly their position.
This is banana republic fascism, and we need to expose it as widely as possible.
They tried for a year through the agencies, then a year via Mueller, and they can’t find anything. That’s how bad this is — they deliberately created a Russian collusion scandal out of thin air, and still, after two years, they can’t find any evidence of the thing they ginned up. Thank God for incompetence.

A major player in this scheme is Comcast. Disney is going along for the ride, but probably considering the 21 Century Fox deal which could easily be tripped up by Trump’s DOJ.
You matter too. You’re a subscriber, patron, vacationer. Before losing your mind on the media munchkins, be mindful of the employer funding the payroll.
I think “Big Media” needs to be broken up. I would love to see Trump become a Trust Buster.
