Were you ever a kid? Kids are notoriously ruthless with each other. Its part of how they're wired. Few, if any, grow up without experiencing teasing, rejection, fights, arguments, pettiness, meanness, etc.

I don't know about you, but I dealt with all of that and more, growing up, and I never reacted to it by retaliating against my rivals with deadly force.

Such things were never heard of in my generation. The only thing that has changed, is the now common, and widespread use of powerful, mind altering psych drugs to 'manage' our children's behavior.

Stop prescribing these psychotropic drugs and watch these school shootings plummet like a stone.

I hope that you did not take my first reply personally Windflier.
I was trying to make a brief point without going on a rant. Yes I was bullied in High School and I stood my ground.
Years later I met some of those who bullied me and they told respected me for that.
I whole hardly agree with you that there are more issues today than those we had to deal with.
However, that being said the simplest course of action, IMHO would be to try and remove the triggering factor.
I could go on but I don’t wish to bore you any longer.

And just one question for you.
