Why did the WASHINGTON POST endorse BARBARA COMSTOCK??? WHY DID THE WASHINGTON POST ENDORSE BARBARA COMSTOCK???
After voting for ObamaCare and Planned Parenthood, #VA10 Congresswoman Barbara Comstock has been RATED "F" by nearly every single conservative group for her anti-Trump liberal record.
It's time for a CONSERVATIVE CHANGE from Barbara Comstock: Shak Hill for Congress.
SHAK HILL: Air Force Academy Graduate. Decorated Fighter Pilot. Articulate Voice for Conservatives. Unlike Comstock, Shak Hill will stand with President Trump and support the Trump Agenda. That's the only way we're going to hold this seat in November.
You just answered your own question about, "Why did the WASHINGTON POST endorse BARBARA COMSTOCK".
Years ago, I thought she was one of us.
Comstock is a Trump-hating RINO slime.
She deserves to lose bigly, to teach the rest of these Republican Trump-haters a lesson.
By the way, Shak Hill, who is a great conservative, is NOT a fighter pilot. He was a transport pilot. He needs to clear that up before the Dems call him a liar.
not to be confused with Shak OrKneel the basket ball star.
Because you repeated yourself.
Way to go, Sparky.
Unfortunately, Hill doesn’t have a chance here in northern Virginia in the general election, especially against the anti-gun, Trump-is-the-devil Dim opponent unless some kind of plague selectively strikes down all the libs here.
The part of the district that elects Republicans is the western part, extending away from NOVA west to some of the less urban counties.

From his Bio.
American Made, Combat Tested
Former Fighter Pilot Running for Congress
Shak at the US Air Force Academy
After high school, Shak graduated from the United States Air Force Academy and became a decorated pilot flying combat missions in Desert Storm and missions all over the world. Because of his exceptional flying skill and drive for education, Shak was invited back to the Academy with his first By-Name request to be an instructor pilot. Shak concluded his career with an unprecedented second By-Name request to the Presidential Wing, Andrews Air Force Base, MD, where he finished as one of only two flight commanders in the 457th Airlift Squadron.
“... Shak Hill, who is a great conservative, is NOT a fighter pilot. He was a transport pilot. He needs to clear that up ...” [oldbill, post 4]
The ad read “Decorated Combat Pilot.” Not “Decorated Fighter Pilot.”
Fighter pilots have ego issues with it, but the truth of the matter is that transport aircrews do go in harm’s way. Fighter pilots have ego issues with most everybody and everything.
Shak Hill never flew a fighter.
He has a great bio and experience, and is a true conservative.
But he is not a fighter pilot, and the left will kill him if he doesn’t set the record straight.
Look at the intro to this thread. It says “decorated fighter pilot”.
He is not. Just ask him.
The left will kill him on this if he doesn’t straighten him out.
As for you, you need to get over it. If transport pilots also get in harm’s way, and they do, he should be proud to say he was a transport pilot, rather than claim he was something else.
There were no transport pilots at the Hanoi Hilton.
Flying Combat doesn't necessarily mean being in a fighter aircraft.
Pilots during WW2 who flew in bombers weren't "fighter pilots" but I wouldn't dare tell one of them that they weren't in combat
I don't know this race or this Hill fella but if he qualifies as being 'in combat" by the Air Force, it's good enough to tell the libs to "go stuff themselves"
If you got good info on Hill, would you care to share?
Ever heard of the Douglas AC-47 "Spooky"? (also nicknamed "Puff, the Magic Dragon") They were flown by "cargoe" pilots yet they flew close air support for our guys in Vietnam. Their presence or non presence in the Hanoi Hilton makes their service no less "combat related".

I worked with Shak a few years ago. If I recall correctly, he flew KC-135 refueling planes during Desert Storm. Great guy. I’d vote for him if I lived there.
Yes, and he should be proud of that.
But he did not fly fighters, ever, and he shouldn’t have his bio or his supporters saying that.
The left, which includes Comstock and the Democrat opponent, will grab at anything false and use it against you.
You and others here are reasoning like democrats.
The issue under discussion is simple and specific - is he or is he not a fighter pilot.
It has nothing to do with combat.
If he flew Combat time he should be proud of that, whether it was an F-16, C-5, AC-130, B-52, or O-2.
But he is not a fighter pilot.
Understand the issue, or go with the democrats. They’re real good at being confused.
“Look at the intro to this thread. It says decorated fighter pilot....” [oldbill, post 12]
The video clip of the TV ad clearly listed “Combat Pilot.”
The thread intro counts for less than the TV ad. Fewer people read Free Republic threads than set eyes on TV ads. That’s a safe bet, no matter what Congressional District is involved.
Fighter pilots need to get over themselves. Having worked with many, I trust none. You shouldn’t either.
The ad read Decorated Combat Pilot. Not Decorated Fighter Pilot.

Thank you for your input, as many seemed concerned about this.

You are absolutely correct. I clicked on the article link and listened to the ad. It never said fighter pilot, only decorated combat pilot. Just like his website lists it.
