Mostly opaque? Only in a very few hyper-vigilant cases. Those who buy an 80% on the Internet or who buy in one swoop everything but the receiver will be assumed to have one of those home builds. There is no proof, but close enough. It would be prudent for those who would resist to keep their "official" firearms separate from their home build and face-to-face purchases, with particular care to keep jackboots from locating the less official weapons.

Not a chance. The socialists would see their end goal, absolute power, within reach and would double down on their grab for tyranny. I suspect it would take years to reach the end, the battle would encompass all aspects of the social wars and of redistribution/reparations, and the number of casualties would be tens of millions, not mere thousands.

It will do you no good to keep the weapons separate. When they come for the weapons it will be because they are already illegal to have.
They will take what they find and you as well.....to the camps with you!
No it's game on when they start busting down doors. It will be unlikely that you will be the first with a SWAT team on your stoop but unless you take action they will eventually get to you.
Might as well go down fighting on your own terms. Don't wait for them to come to you. You go to them.....in the dark of night. We know who they are and where they live and work.
While I tend to agree with you, it would also depend on who those first casualties are.
