Hard to tell. From a quick look at the full video I would have thought just one shot. Maybe a double tap. But three? I’m guessing as he hits the ground and then motions forward and she is backing away she fires again. It all happens so quick. She did take her time to conceal her draw from her purse, and waited for a good shot - seemingly mindful of the child and mom behind the gunman. She’s fortunate the gunman didn’t shoot her - his gun was pointed right at her when she fired. The surprise factor - and she was committed to her act. The “gunman” was more of a punk robber.
Upon watching it again, I think it was a double tap, and the third shot is as the bad guy is on the ground and raises his arm with the gun still in his hand at her. I’m glad that she didn’t put a bullet to the back of his head as she was standing over him. (Now THAT would have been graphic.)
Interesting on the term “graphic”. I don’t consider seeing the bad guy getting shot as being graphic. Now - if it was an innocent mom or child getting shot by the bad guy - that would have been graphic. Not very Christian of me I suppose.
I wonder if she shot him with a Bersa Thunder? They make them in Brazil.

I looks to me like she fired three times before retreating behind the car. The last shoot just before she goes past the pole. I could be wrong though.
Maybe she would consider a job in Parkland, FL...
It's easy to watch a video several times and think things through. “Well, at that range and with that first good shot right to the chest, it is probably %85 odds that the injuries to his heart and lungs would have incapacitated him, and no further injury was necessary to stop him.”
Probably one of the reasons why cop cameras are frowned upon by some cops. A lawyer could sure spin that tale to a jury.
