Marvel CONFIRMS first Muslim superhero: Character will feature in forthcoming MCU movie

One character yet to be introduced via the Marvel Cinematic Universe is the Muslim superhero Ms Marvel.

But it seems that now is the time - or at least, it will be soon.

The man behind the movies - producer and President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige - has teased to the BBC that the story writers are gearing up to introduce Ms Marvel in the near future.

The original Ms. Marvel was Carol Danvers and was a great character back in the day.

So ... is she related to Supergirl's adoptive parents? (She is Linda Lee Danvers).

How does "Ms." Marvel meet up with the Avengers? Does her husband have to tag along? The stupidest thing D.C. ever did was to sue Fawcett over Captain Marvel, and not pay for the stupid name in the settlement, messing up the identity of one of the key comic book superheroes of the entire Golden Age. Mary Marvel could beat the snot out of Ms. Marvel, ask Georgia!

Ouch. That was a harsh subtle rebuke to one of the most popular movies of all time. I saw Avengers Infinity War Friday. In 3D IMAX it was a lot of fun, but your characterization of the movie wasn’t far off. It was cluttered, so full of heroes, few got to shine. Actually, only one: Thor. He was great. Hulk was non-existent (a big disappointment) and so many heroes were turned to dust that you know will be brought back to life in Avengers 4. It makes the whole story almost meaningless in my fanboy mind, but I’m hopeful all will made right a year from now.
