POLITICO got the conservative part right except Hillsdale College has always been conservative and hasn’t changed it’s conservatism not one bit since Trump has became president, in fact they are probably more conservative then Trump ever has been. On the other had it being a Christian College that is news to me. But maybe it still has links the the American Baptist not sure about that though. Either way students don’t go there because it is a Christian College if it is one, they go there because it is a very find Conservative College.
Best yet, it doesn’t take federal funding including student loans
Just visited the school in March with my son. They are not a religious institution, but they fully recognize and promote the impact Christianity has had on the founding and development of our country. They are currently building a massive church in the center of campus to further reinforce the importance of the Christian faith.
My dad, a long time donor, joined us on the visit and proudly wore his 82nd Airborne hat. The students lined up to thank him for his service in the union, and he was constantly stopped and thanked as we toured the campus. The Dean even came out of his office to talk about his time in the 101st Airborne. Great school, great students and great environment.
