Just visited the school in March with my son. They are not a religious institution, but they fully recognize and promote the impact Christianity has had on the founding and development of our country. They are currently building a massive church in the center of campus to further reinforce the importance of the Christian faith.
My dad, a long time donor, joined us on the visit and proudly wore his 82nd Airborne hat. The students lined up to thank him for his service in the union, and he was constantly stopped and thanked as we toured the campus. The Dean even came out of his office to talk about his time in the 101st Airborne. Great school, great students and great environment.
Thank you!!! Awesome forever photo! Beautiful and precious son and father!
I was raised in Hillsdale, great little town to live in. Great College for your kid to goto. If it wasn’t for Hillsdale College Hillsdale would just be another run down old factory town. The only two things going for it is Hillsdale College and the Hillsdale Fairgrounds. I would almost consider moving back to Hillsdale when I retire, If I ever make it to that age. I would goto alot of the special events at the college (mostly special guest speakers) for Hillsdale College, bowl at the College if they still have bowling, goto the auctions every weekend at the fairgrounds, and do a lot of fishing in the area.
Hillsdale is not a Christian college, but it teaches the values that made us great. It’s “Education for Leadership.”
As an old Army guy, I can say those are two of our finest regiments.
The college was founded in 1844 by Free Will Baptists, but it has long since ceased to have any formal religious affiliation.
