No. Rotating outdoor antenna.
Oh, I agree with that! I hate the new air conditioning controls. Just give me on/off and fan/heat/air conditioning. I can figure out the temp I want without having to set it to some specific number.
Also, the touch screen in our Forester is awful. I’m always hitting something I don’t mean to hit, and the navigation system is always trying to take me some place I don’t want to go.
Garbage in, garbage out ...
Not a problem for me. For most of the almost 29 years we’ve been in our house the wife has either half-filled or filled most of the double garage with all matter of clutter and junk. Something she wasn’t able to do over the years of living in base housing.
Now, we’ve been married for over 45 years and this is a small matter not to be able to park both cars in the garage. It is not worth the time it takes to plead the case once again if it is one of the only small things on which she has her way.
Over the years you learn when to snap to, salute, and march forward sharply.
Yes, there is a potential for a false alarm to go off but there are a few workarounds for that. One thing you definitely dont want to do is idle the car for more than a second after the car is in the garage but thats only common sense. If winds are the right way, there is still a possibility it could go off but the odds are small. When leaving, I always make sure to get the car backed up right away after it is started. One other thing that is important to do is make sure you place the alarm in a location which is not subject to immediate impact from the car exhaust. This typically means mounting it near the door into the house so that if there ever was an alarm, it can be investigated right away. That location naturally is on the opposite side of an exhaust pipe.
Im a bit nuts about carbon monoxide as I nearly lost a brother to it. One thing I always do is carry my own portable CO detector wherever I travel
.. its seems that every year there is a report somewhere that a pool heater in a hotel malfunctioned. Years ago I found this unit and what I liked about it, it gives a readout in ppm and is so small that it fits on a keychain. https://www.amazon.com/Pocket-CO-72-9021-Monoxide-Detector/dp/B001G0STBK/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1526256908&sr=8-3&keywords=Pocket+CO In fact, I liked it so much Ive bought one for all my family members and for my employees and also given away some as prizes. I have no connection to the company but I do highly recommend that travellers have something like this when they travel. If you do any flying in small planes, a small unit like this is a must./p>
I can guess whose car is NOT parked inside.
Let FR do the html.

Good to know! I travel a lot for work.
Yeah, kinda inconvenient to reach to the LF rotor area, but I have long legs! ;-)
Not so much a Key-Head, whatever that is. Just someone who is not all that impressed with a key less car. I don’t see it as that impressive of a technology or that much of a convenience. Particularly since there seems to be a problem with people pulling the cars into their attached garages, forgetting to shut them off & ending up dead.
Problem solved.
“Just someone who is not all that impressed with a key less car.”
There is always 10% ....
Having been poisoned by Carbon Monoxide I can tell you it is not a pleasant experiance.
Neither, we’re talking about a lot of stuff.
What did you say?? Please speak louder!!!
Yeah, there are many things about our vehicle that leave me unimpressed. The stupid CVT transmission and their PZEV fuel saving feature are particularly troublesome.
What? They make keyless cars? I don’t buy anything newer than 6 or 7 years old.
