All good points. But remember that Page was always looked at as a potential target of the investigation — not an informant. And it seems like he’s spent a lot of time on TV running his mouth without any fear of legal jeopardy.

They wanted you to think he was a potential target. That gave him cover. But if you remember his tv appearances there was always something odd about what he’d say. He seemed to straddle both sides of the fence. I always thought he was afraid of repercussions but maybe he was actually a CIA asset all along. He seemed to be hiding something.
