She’s not strolling down a street in NY., she was exiting Chelsea’s building. No need for a vest to make a short walk to a waiting car. No one ever noticed a vest while she was out and about while campaigning so why would she wear one now? My vote goes to some sort of brace.

Some on this board say it looks exactly like a back brace. Do Kevlar vest have a protrusion on the back. I have had to wear, and still own, body armor. The good stuff just adds a few pounds on your outline and even the less expensive stuff does not make your clothing look like that, and you surely would not need a scarf on a 90 degree day.
What she is wearing is almost definitely a brace of some kind. I am not a doctor but she is so sick that she needs a very heavy duty brace to keep herself upright. Just look at the pictures and videos of her sitting during some of her current interviews and she is obviously wearing a brace as she never sits upright or ever leans forward.

Lol, did you remember that from when it originally aired? Not sure if I saw the first broadcast. I've seen the reruns so many times.
That has to be one of the top three funniest episodes.
The others were the Tim Conway-Harvey Korman "Dentist" episode and the notorious "Elephant" episode.
