Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who is now on President Trump's legal team, told CBS News correspondent Paula Reid Monday afternoon that special counsel Robert Mueller's office has rejected proposals to allow Mr. Trump to answer questions from investigators in writing.

I find it inconceivable that Trump and his team of lawyers would cooperate in any fashion with Mueller, especially after the raid on Cohen.
As for an interview with Mueller and his team, why would Trump entertain talking with Mueller after claiming all this time that the investigation is a witch hunt, and as most of the experts note, is illegal and has no basis in statute.
If he consents to an interview, he automatically ratifies the investigation and that argument is no longer relevant.
Hopefully, that will be Trump’s final offer....given that no crime has been committed, that much is still an unconstitutional concession of power to an illegitimate rogue band of Democratic partisan Seditionists.
Further evidence that Judge Ellis was right last week—Mueller’s goal is to get Trump impeached (hoping, no doubt, that it will end the way it did for Nixon).
From what I understand, he doesn’t have to answer anything at all. He can’t be subpoenaed? Seems to me that Mueller is acting like Trump is in the wrong just to give the impression that he is.
This makes no sense and it’s dragging on too long.
On the other hand maybe that’s team Trump’s idea, keep it going; wear down the American public to death with every little detail. Get them fed up with the Dems.
And, according to sources, Judge Ellis rejects Mewler’s motion to suppress CNN’s release of photos of Mewler and Comey relaxing in a large hot tub with five blonde Swiss boys.
