An FBI lawyer who made headlines for exchanging derogatory text messages about President Donald Trump has left the bureau.
That's according to a person familiar with the situation, who said Page voluntarily resigned on Friday and is taking a new job.
Text messages between Page and Peter Strzok, an FBI agent who was assigned to special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation, show them expressing negative views about Trump and referring to him in derogatory ways.
