I’m pretty sure the “throw half the resumes in the trash” is a joke from Parks & Recreation.
Remember, we’re talking about a sub-culture that isn’t allowed to not vote Democrat. When you’re required to think a certain way, just maybe, you’re not going to make the educational choices to make it in these types of companies.
I work in the tech industry. It’s hard to find highly qualified people, they’re always fully employed. From those that are available, I get plenty of candidates from all over the world - but almost never American blacks. Why is that? I’m not discriminating, there must be plenty of choices being made prior to me sending out job requirements.
Pursuant to this logic if a particular segment of society is disproportionately treated for gunshot wounds by hospital emergency room physicians that segment should be proportionately hired as emergency room physicians

This is so true. 20 years ago I tried a career change and taught for a while at a local public school just north on NYC.
In a couple of my classes (I taught a couple of accounting and business oriented classes) one of my best students was a black kid. Very nice young man, well spoken and bright.
At the parents/teacher conference I met his parents and found out why he was that way - they were both teachers and understood the value of a good education.
As the semester progressed, the kid started slacking off, to the point where I took him aside and asked what was the issue. He said he was getting pressured by other blacks in the school for being too “white”, getting great grades and not fitting their idea of how a black guy should act in school.
I assured him this would pass, and he should just keep being who had always been and just keep doing his best.
Shortly thereafter I had to leave that area and move out of state, but to this day I wonder what became of him and the rest of my students. But him in particular. And this was 20 years ago!

I was a minority for 15 years while working for Intel in Silicon Valley.
It is much worse now.
In the residential construction industry in Northern California, the crews are almost 100% Hispanic.
The only industries where I see black Americans over-represented are begging on the streets and hanging around street corners.
With the lack of family structure and the mentality that going to school, getting an education, getting a job and going to work everyday to support yourself and your family is acting white and taboo, THEN throw dimocrats buying votes with FREE STUFF I agree with you..............

I just can’t even see it happening. You have too many famous blacks espousing the same crap that keeps them right where they are, in poverty in the ghetto and on the dimocrat plantation.

Youngest son works in a metal cabinet making plant, he can work every department. His biggest complaint is the LAZINESS of black workers, and the factory is majority black employees. And they B..CH he makes more money than they do, that is because he works his Behind off and works all OT offered, rarely takes a sick day. Where they take advantage of no OT, and every sick day. Stand around with cell phones talking. Over extend break periods. Refuse to learn other department’s work.
A tid bit, blacks make up 13% of the population, they commit 50% of the crimes per their population, and in Tennessee serve 6 months LESS time than white or other racial groups.
