Sessions has stated that he would resign if Rosenstein is fired. So why doesn’t Trump just fire Rosenstein and kill 2 birds with one stone?
The Deep State won't let him resign, because it's his job to shelter them from justice.
They also won't allow him to rescind his recusal for the same reason.
